The Intermarché group has around ten own brands, including Bouton d'Or, which specialises in condiments, side dishes, aperitifs and snacks.

Tartare or Hannibal?

Observation.
We’re all prone to the look of the labels we see on our supermarket shelves… A fact not lost on Intermarché. So the group asked Spike to add even more appetite appeal to its range of squeeze sauces, making them mouthwatering enough to grab the attention of us sauce enthusiasts.

Solution.
A pop, coherent label design that highlights three elements: the Bouton d’Or brand, the name of the sauce and a suggestion of the typical dish that the sauce in question can be paired with. The colours used reflect those of each of the sauces, except for the tartare, which uses blue in reference to water, as this sauce is essentially used with fish.
